WOMEN AGAINST HIVMENA Rosa, is the first regional network dedicated to women touched by HIV in the Middle East and North Africa. Launched in 2010, MENA Rosa’s mandate is ambitious, as are its members.
LIVING WITH HIVFor many women living with HIV, particularly in the weeks after diagnosis, an important source of support is talking to someone else who is living with HIV. We provide many services that enable you to do this; either through 1 to 1 meetings, courses or in relaxed, social groups
WELCOME TO MENA Rosa
We Are Here for You
“We are a group of women who works for the rights of women for dignity and love. The name of the network originates from MENA [Middle East and North Africa], and Rosa as the first black woman on a bus in the USA who refused to give up her seat to a white man, starting the civil rights [movement] for black Americans. Rosa is also a feminine symbol.
