MENA Rosa’s Secretariat is located in Beirut – Lebanon, and the network has Focal Points in 11 countries across the MENA region.
As a community-based and community-led network of women living with HIV, MENA Rosa operates in full alignment with the MIPA principle (Meaningful Involvement of People Living with HIV). The network ensures the meaningful participation of women living with HIV – community leaders – at every stage of its work, including decision-making, strategic planning, project design, implementation, and monitoring.
MENA Rosa currently has 17 Focal Points, all women living with HIV, who serve as community leaders in their respective countries. They are at the forefront of efforts in awareness-raising, capacity building, outreach and support to women and their families, advocacy, and strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders.
