Under the Global Fund multi-country grant, Nadoum Program, MENA Rosa conducted roundtable discussions in Jordan, Egypt and Morocco aiming to enhance emergency health care and HIV services for women living with HIV.
MENA Rosa engaged National Stakeholders (NAP, UNAIDS, Ministry of Health, Health authorities, service providers) as well as the community of WLHIV to actively participate in the discussions around HIV services during emergency situations (sanitary crisis, floods, natural disasters, etc.) and emergency HIV care.
In Egypt, we developed Standard Operating Procedure - Provision of HIV Services During Emergencies and Disasters.
In Jordan, we developed a Manual on Emergency Care for people living with HIV.
Both documents were developed and endorsed by national stakeholders (Ministry of Health, National Aids Program, UNAIDS, local civil society, etc.) and the community of WLHIV.
