In 2021, under the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria (GFATM) grant “HIV: Sustainability of Services for Key Population in MENA region” Nadoum Programme: MENA Rosa drafted a treatment literacy informative toolkit in English, Arabic and French aiming to expand the quality care, treatment, support and prevention services to reach women living with HIV.
Under the same grant, MENA Rosa conducted a four-days Training of Trainers on the Treatment Literacy Toolkit in: Jordan, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia. The training’s primary goal was to update the toolkit based on the community’s feedback, as well as educate WLHIV - peer educators - on the importance of treatment adherence; and equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to address issues on treatment, stigma and peer support to become positive agents of change.
